150 young artists from Dudley Infant Academy School worked with artist Susan Miller developing panels inspired by Edward Lear's seafaring characters. They transformed the path leading from Station Approach to St Leonards Warrior Square station with a flow reflecting Lear’s frequent channel crossings from Folkestone and ferry trips across the Mediterranean from Italy to Albania and Greece. Lear was an enthusiastic traveller and the theme resonates through much of his work.
