ATownExploresABook21’s closing ceremony celebrates 18 days of exuberant creative responses to Edward Lear’s 1871 nonsense anthology in vibrant St Leonards on Sea. Find out what Lear got up to on his many visits to the seaside resort, and sister town Hastings, and mark the 150th anniversary of his most famous poem, The Owl and the Pussy-Cat.
A fascinating event of nonsense and sense, hosted by the festival core team and featuring three new works by festival band, The Limbs of Romney.
