Nonsense Poetry Competition

Thank you to every young poet who entered our nonsense poetry competition in association with Education Futures Trust. These are videos of the six shortlisted poems, three in the younger category and three in the older age range. The readers are festival director Gail Borrow, poet Ed Boxall, festival researcher Sean Duggan and the poet who has headed up this competition, Thabo Nyoni. One poet reads their own poem.

The winners have been selected by a panel comprising Thabo Nyoni, Charlotte Kim and Fran Simpson at Education Futures Trust and Erica Smith of A Town Explores A Book.
