5 – 14 year olds are invited to enter the 2024 festival creative writing competition themed on trains.

What do you love about train journeys, stations, tunnels, ticket offices?

Submit up to 150 words, sharing your passions for the rail network in any format: prose, poetry, a list, an illustrated entry.
The choice of format is yours.

The deadline for entries is 26th April. If you are entering through a school, please hand into your teacher. If you are entering independently, email your entry to explorers@atownexploresabook.com

The judging panel are looking for the most creative voice.

WInners will be announced before the prizes are awarded on Tuesday 7th May. More details about this event coming soon.
