A Town Explores A Book is a reader-led festival. We are excited that #MakingItHappen funding has been granted through Hastings Voluntary Action for the Four Courts high rise neighbourhood to take part in the festival.

The community will share multiple creative responses to the book in one of the festival’s three activity hubs. The Four Courts Wellbeing hub will be open from 1-5 and 8-12 April, 10am -3pm, with lots to see and do and free food. It is sited at what will be the northern end of the festival trail.

#ATownExploresABook is a festival in which voices not generally heard in literary platforms are foregrounded in the exploration of a heritage book. We’re looking forward to the fresh insights that will be shared by this community.
