Cabaret Mechanical Theatre CIC have begun their automata-making workshops in schools as part of the 8 Ways to Connect festival schools engagement programme. 

 

Christ Church C E Primary Academy was the first school to take part in an initiative that will continue through the spring school term. 

 

During the festival, viewers will be able to enjoy an imagining of the world of the book in miniature comprising 200 automata made by children. Located at Archer Lodge, this will be one of three festival activity hubs in St Leonards-on-Sea open weekdays, 10am – 3pm, during the spring holiday period.
